Volunteers

Our organization is comprised of an all-volunteer Board of Directors and a modest, paid, full-time office staff who are all devoted to the vitality, prosperity, and future of our community. We are highly dependent on our volunteers and are always in need of additional volunteers. If interested, please contact in the space provided below.

Board Structure

CEDC’s Board consists of 22 members who are all volunteers and come from the local business and financial communities, and residents that represent various non-profit community organizations. The overall direction and policy for all CEDC’s operations are the responsibility of the Board.

The Board appoints an 8-person Executive Board which manages and directs investment and financial decisions and policy guidelines for the office staff. The office staff manage day to day rental assets, renter and tenant relations and problem resolution.

The Treasurer of the corporation, under the direction of the Executive Board, manages CEDC’s assets and liabilities and the financial management system which has been certified as sufficient to protect and oversee governmental grant funds awarded.
